Bulgarian DJ and producer Diass began his musical journey at the early age of 12. This early exposure ignited a deep passion that continues to shape the music he creates today. Notably, Diass is among the few Bulgarian DJs with formal music education, having studied music production, sound, and studio engineering for over six years. Over the past decade, he has developed a unique sound and artistic voice within the electronic music scene, transmitting his music from his studio in Sofia to dance floors around the globe. He has performed at every notable club and underground venue in Bulgaria and has toured internationally, with gigs in Ibiza, London, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Cairo, and Moscow. His discography includes three albums: Party Beach (2011), Welcome to Bulgaria (2013), and Reset the World (2015), the latter released on the renowned 303Lovers label.
Throughout the years, Diass has collaborated with top Bulgarian vocalists and shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Damian Lazarus, Satori, Jamie Jones, Faithless, Be Svendsen, Unders, Paco Osuna, Serge Devant, Blond:Ish, and Hot Since 82. His sound bridges genres such as Nu Disco, Indie Dance, Electronica, Downtempo, Organic House, and Melodic Techno. Artistically innovative yet accessible, his sets are known for evoking deep emotions while igniting pure dancefloor energy. His work has been released by respected labels including Sol Selectas, Scorpios Music, Cosmic Awakenings, Bercana Music, and many others. Every one of his releases has entered the Beatport Organic House Top 100 Chart, a testament to his consistent quality and appeal.
In 2021, Diass became a resident DJ at Scorpios and Noema in Mykonos, returning in 2022 for another summer season on the iconic Greek island. In May 2022, he co-founded the music label KATUN alongside Dimo BG and Mr. Kâthree of the most prominent figures on the Bulgarian electronic music scene. United by their passion for creating and promoting meaningful, high-quality electronic music, they launched KATUN as a multi-faceted platform: a record label, an event series, and a community. KATUN Tribe embodies a shared vision of storytelling through sound, bringing together artists and audiences who appreciate deeper musical narratives.
